Reference! Sending information to “NizhegorodEnergoGazRaschet” is available only in the last 5 working days of the month. On other days the service is closed and it is impossible to transmit information.

Sending meter information via SMS

In order to take advantage of the opportunity to transfer meter data to NizhegorodEnergoGazRaschet, you first need to submit an application to register a subscriber’s mobile number.

How to take readings

It is very important to take readings from the gas meter in full accordance with the data displayed on it, since payment will depend on this, as well as the identity of the data with the readings written in the receipt. Depending on the type of meter, you need to know how the readings are taken. Eg:

Digital. In this case, you need to write down the numbers up to the decimal point from left to right, namely those numbers that are located before the numbers surrounded by a red (gray) frame. Mechanical. In such counters, digital values are marked in the same way as on a digital one, but in some models the numbers may not be separated by a comma. Then you need to rewrite all the numbers. In a mechanical counter, readings are also taken from left to right. But it should be said that if there are zeros in front, then there is no need to write them out.

Where is the year of manufacture indicated on the water meter?

After you have installed a water meter, the company that carried out the installation work will issue a package of necessary documents, which will then need to be provided to the management company.

Please note that among these documents there must be a passport for the meter, which is required to be provided to the Criminal Code.

Why is the passport an important part? We should start with the fact that he testifies to that. That the old meters were replaced with new ones; without a passport, registration will not be carried out. Why is that? The answer is that the meter, like any other measuring device, has its own serial number, which distinguishes it from other installations.

This serial number must be registered, and accounting will be based on it. It is in the passport that the data we need is indicated; most often it is located on the first page.

However, in addition to the serial number, the passport contains another very important mark: the date of inspection that was carried out for the first time, the date of inspection by the manufacturer and the date of release of the water meter.

What is this data for? According to the law, all water meters must be checked. For hot water, testing is done every 4 years, for cold water every 6. But there is an interesting fact here. The check should be carried out not from the installation date, but from the initial check. This means that if your meter has been lying around for several years and has not been installed, its inspection will be suspended for exactly this period.

Payment amount calculation

The main calculation of the amount to be paid is made directly by the gas supply organization based on the evidence provided. Gas consumers need to not only take readings correctly, but also provide them in a timely manner. It is also an obligation for citizens who use gas to pay for the service provided on time.

Filling out a receipt

A gas receipt is a traditional way of informing consumers about payment deadlines. This payment document contains important information for the subscriber and service provider and consists of two parts: the notice and the receipt itself.

There are different options for designing the form, but each contains the required information:

details of the supplier company: name, tax identification number, bank details;
payer data: full name, address, personal account;
payment data: payment period, date;

Typically, the receipt arrives partially filled out, indicating the volume of gas consumed for the previous month and its cost. The subscriber needs to enter the current meter readings in the empty column, indicating them twice in the receipt: in the notice and in the detachable part of the document. This will allow the operator to correctly calculate the volume of gas consumed for the new period, and will give the subscriber the opportunity to find out previous readings from the surviving fragment of the receipt and check the correctness of filling out the document.

Calculation of gas cost in case of late submission of readings

One of the important requirements for consumers is not just monthly, but timely transmission of meter readings. Due to the lack of information, the operator cannot calculate the cost of services for the past period.

In case of untimely submission of data, the Gas Supply Rules (clause 31, article 3 of Government Decree No. 549 of July 21, 2008) provide for the following measures:

if within three months the subscriber fails to take meter readings on time, charges are formed based on the average monthly volume of gas consumption by the household;
If even after this period the subscriber does not submit information for gas on time, the supplier proceeds to payment according to the standards.

To prevent this from happening, it is worth notifying the gas supply organization in advance about the impossibility of showing data for a certain period.

If there is such a notification, the supplier will not calculate the cost of gas according to the standard. If after the specified period the information is not received, the equipment may be turned off.

What actions are taken when installing a gas meter?

Gas meters are complex devices, so installing them yourself is prohibited, as there is a threat to life. There are special services for these purposes.

Connecting a device to measure gas consumption is preceded by a number of mandatory procedures.

Before installing it, you need to prepare some documents (originals and copies):

passport of the property owner;
living space plan;
passport of the new device (if it has already been purchased);
certificate of ownership.

Important! If the tenant has not purchased a meter, it is necessary to prepare in advance a list of gas-powered equipment used in the residential premises. If a positive decision is made, the organization signs an installation agreement with the owner and issues a check for payment for all installation work.

After submitting a receipt for payment to the gas service, the terms and availability of materials needed for the work are discussed. On the appointed day, the device is installed and sealed - only after this action can the meter be used by taking readings. If it is not sealed, the owner will have to pay the difference between the amount according to the indications and the amount according to state tariffs.

register a personal account on the website and confirm the account created by the user. Confirmation can be made at a multifunctional center (MFC), a Rostelecom branch or by mail;
log into your personal account by indicating the user’s login in a special form, which is a mobile phone number, SNILS or personal email address;

go to the service catalog, select the “Apartment, construction and land” section and the “Payment for housing and communal services” subsection;

choose a service provider. For example, gas supply to the Yaroslavl region is carried out;

to search for a subscriber in the window that opens, you must enter the personal account number or payer code specified in the receipt;

at the final stage, if necessary, payment for the service is made according to the invoice.

The readings from the meter will be taken into account when processing the payment by the service provider, which takes from several hours, if the payment is made on weekdays, to 1 - 3 days.

Procedure for checking a gas meter
